How much do you get for unemployment and how long does it last?
Also, is there a certain amount of time that you need to be working before you can claim it? How would you go about doing so? |

Do not sign contract unless it states the desired location. I'm sure you will be asked to teach outside your area though. |

Thanks again! Yeah, that's what I've read. I'm more concerned about where I will be living (although I don't want a long commute) because I want to be in Osaka-fu and this job had a listing for it. |

You have to be working either 6 months or a year to claim it. It's 60% of your salary and lasts at least 3 months. You go to Hello Work to claim it. |
