Your comment is interesting particularly since I perceive you to be a realist generally while Texans think they can solve illegal immigration by erecting walls. Have you considered that the Texans consider immigration to be a threat to their economic well being and a loss of jobs for the native born while we are working in foreign lands and presumably replacing the native born here. In my opinion, immigration is just a natural response to economic forces. It was when Genghis Khan conquered China and it still is today.

What I should of wrote was that I would like to be in a state where the majority are white, proud and enjoy living and working an live as a community (never been there so this is just a perception).

Perhaps 'mentality on immigration' was the wrong phrase. America finds itself in a tight situation on labour and immigration issues; if the Mexicans left, or were forced to leave, the economy would fail. But you will always find hard liners on border lands, it is an inevitable consequence of territorial boundaries.

Re IMMIGRATION - I'd say it's better to keep such 'debates' off of here since they almost inevitably contravene the basic rules and will get threads locked and members blocked.

They are also a pointless and futile waste of time and energy.

Thank you for your valuable input.

Personally, I think Texas, and Texans would never let their city become a social experiment like that of Detroit where 80 percent of the population was black - But perhaps too late? We don't use the title 'President' anymore, just 'OBAMA!'.

Not going to argue with you - you're entitled to your opinion but this is not the place. I would hate to see the mods come down heavy handed over this non-issue.
