Hey! Tim Horton's is now a publicly traded company, worht $36 CDN per share! Sounds like good news.
But, Tim Horton's is actually owned by Wendy's, an American fast-food chain. Behing every good bit of Canadiana there's an American company pulling the strings.  |

I have would have bought some shares had I still lived in Canada. Being a non-resident, a big no-no and can't be bothered to get them through an American company. |

At $36 a share, I think my investments in Tim Horton's will be restricted to a 20 pack of Timbits. |
