basic's are a Z visa is for a Teacher in China to teach at one school you can not teach or tutor outside of the school. The school invites you and is held responsible for you and your actions. ( this and tax's is why many schools will not do Z visa )

F visa is for working in China it has changed to a one year visa. But you can work at a school in other ways but your contract can not say you are a teacher it can say you are a consultant , cultural exchange person, curculim advisor etc........

Where there is a law there is a way around it.

What I wonder is who in China is an English Teacher, or are you a oral "cultural exchange". person. Do you teach reading writing , Lit. diagramming a sentence etc....... I have met only a few who are actually teaching a small part of English as a teacher in China. These are certified teachers preparing students for college abroad.

I taught English Literature, and I would love doing it again; unfortunately few establishments actually offer that.

I also taught IELTS (at some private outfit), and that was with some focus on grammar, writing etc.

I repeatedly taught English Writing or Composition.
