I am intrigued to see the gossip regarding the handing over of these schools to the former director's brother.

EF Kalimalang has had quite a few teacher retention problems (personal communication and reading the adverts!)

It has VERY close connections with EF schools in Solo, Yogya and Semarang.

The original director (female) was removed from the scene by EF head office and her ex-fiance took over the job.

Salaries have been the lowest in the country in Central Java for some years now, and at least one DoS was paid an excellent salary and advised to not allow teachers to get pay increases. It was quite a battle to have air fares refunded at one stage.
