| B.A, throwing any pooey substance at the Queen seems a bit extreme to me,care to enlighten us as to the reason why you feel such hostility towards her, especially as its widely known she enjoys a good game of football(as a spectator of course)I believe she's a Chelsea fan . |

| I've heard she still has a bit of Greek in her. But only on his birthday. |

| Yes, good question. I don't actually wish to throw plop-plops at the Queen because her herself has done anything directly to harm me. The idea interests me because I wonder what kind of penalty I would receive. It's probably one of the most disgusting acts you could commit on someone, without being particularly cruel or particularly harmful. I reckon that if I did it to an innocent bystander, or to a personal enemy - fine? suspended sentence? 6 months max. But would the British right-wing media be able to handle such a lenient sentence. Would I get a harsher sentence because it was the Queen? Is there something in law for that? Or shouldn't I be ALLOWED to throw faeces at the Queen? She is MY figurehead whether I like it or not. Shouldn't I be allowed to get SOME kind of use out of her? What kind of a reaction would I get? And, if done in private, would the palace simply wish to cover the whole incident up, and I get off scot-free? As for being a republican? No way. Anarchist. |

Could it be treason?
| Quote: |
1. the offense of acting to overthrow one's government or to harm or kill its sovereign.
2. a violation of allegiance to one's sovereign or to one's state.
3. the betrayal of a trust or confidence; breach of faith; treachery. |
I'd make sure you had a good lawyer. I think treason is still a hanging offence. |

No, TB abolished all remaining hanging offences from the statute book back in 97. Interestingly, one of them was hanging for Piracy. Yaaar!
I think you might get lynched by a mob of enraged old people should you get within poop-flinging range of Her Maj. This is why it would probably be better to do it at a distance - a cr.ap catapult! or a turd trebuchet. failing that, you could train up a load of attack chimps, who are well known for flinging their own faecal matter at anything they consider to be an imminent threat. |

You could use messenger pigeons. Or is pigeon poop not really good enough for the purpose?
I love old laws that seem to still be around. Apparently it's still perfectly legal to kills a Sctosman within York city walls with a bow and arrow |
