I'm half-chinese, half white. Will I be treated poorly?

It is my experience that Chinese schools would always prefer the long nose (zhang bizi) over someone not looking purely like the first. But there are exceptions and of course it differs from place to place.

Give it a try.....

Not my intention to burst your bubble, but the fact is,there isn't as much fascination with the visceral that you seem to exhibit yourself,in regards to the physicalities of mixed race individuals. You can expect a slew of insults if you look asian and don't speak Chinese.

Music to my ears. I just want to be treated normally. I do hope people don't start throwing around insults though. I don't look "asian" persay and I've never had a chinese person assume that I could speak Chinese.

Absolutely. Mixed race models have been in high demand for advertising for a number of years in the States. I personally agree...multiracial Chinese and African people can be very attractive.
