I have just read this entire thread and was fascinated to see how it changed from posters helping somebody with information about earnings in Japan to caustic comments from suteikigaijin regarding Glenski`s supposed `bitterness`.

If Glenski complains about his working life in Japan, that`s news to me, sutekigaijin. I always find Glenski`s posts (and those of Paul) to be useful for those who want to find out about the real situation in Japan. Since when has Glenski been complaining when he answers others` questions regarding his working schedule?

It`s sutekigaijin that seems to have `issues` - talk about `Pissing` on newbies, a kind of aggression that is completely unwarranted when comparing your situation to that of other posters, and a defensive hostility towards posters who simply answer your posts. Wrapped up in a `Hey guys, I`m winning, and you`re not` attitude.

Relax - and stop seeing reasonable replies as some kind of threat to which you have to reply through cheap shots which are irrelevant.

WOW Exclamation

This Sutekigaijin has some 'tude.

I guess he traded in all his pleasantries along with his free time when he saw the sum he'd be making. Personally I'd rather make Y200,000 at an eikaiwa than turn out to be such a tosser.

Wow a dogfight! Hey Egas don't let these few people influence your decision about Japan. I think that some posters are REALLY helpful but don't like their ideas challenged. Sometimes some postings do seem a bit too pessimistic. By the things I've read many things are possible and I should have taken advantage of more opportunities myself. I can see all sides of this argument. It was interesting as I read page 4 first and had to go back and catch up. It was like a movie where they show the ending first. Actually it all made me want to go back to Japan all the more. Hard to be sure how things will change there though. GRRR! Laughing
