I agree with you. Islam is in the USA only. KSA is another bad example of the Middle Eastern countries, but the worst. I am really shocked, but this is the truth. They are back to pre Islam.

You misunderstand me. I am merely stating what I have seen. Many Muslims (especially from the USA) come to KofSA with a vision that they are coming to some sort of ideal Islamic State.

Just like idealists who believed in Socialism paying their first visit to the USSR - they are disappointed !

Or another comparison - like the ideologues around Mohammed Ali Jinnah who really believed that the state they were building would be a pure Islamic entity, where the law would ensure justice for all.!

Thanks! The truth is: the "theory of ideal islam" in KSA has failed, and probably never existed. Islam came to this land to "correct" their barbaric behavior.

windstar,

I promise to find the contact information for you. We (the university) were in a week vacation, and just started the school Saturday. Again, they canceled the classes Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for "Job Search" workshop. I will get you the contact information soon.

Some of the "Failures" living in Saudi Arabia are actually quite happy... Ponder your judgements and proofread your posts please.

Thanks,

Getting rubber in second gear. Gives it a new meaning or do you think that the Americans meant differently?

People I talked to at taibah sound very reasonable. I have not worked or been there personally. I had an interview with them and waiting for any news. I heard people in the city are quite friendly. Good luck and wish us luck too. Smile
I should mention though, if you are not Muslim, Taibah is not a proper place for you as I gather from other discussions because almost everything is within Haram circle.
