just be aware that its not always exactly the same....

for example:

yasmin is sold in a 28 day pack in the us

here, you receive 21 pills and no placebos for the other days.

i'm not sure why they skimp, but maybe it saves them a few cents a pack.

Most birth control pills give you the option of buying the 21- or 28-day pack.

yeah, but you really don't need the placebo pills at all. it would be like taking a cube of sugar each day. though, it helps to keep you remembering to take the pill.

update:
it was incredibly simple to get a refill on my birth control. The wait time was all of two seconds, compared to the 20-45+ minutes in a US pharmacy. it cost me(boyfriend) about $15.00 pesos for THREE MONTHS worth of birth control, name brand, as opposed to $30.00 usd, $10.00 when on insurance, for one month's worth of the generic form of my birth control. i'll be buying enough for like the next year before i leave.

<3mexico
and thanks for the help dudes, i appreciate it a lot.

15 pesos for three months?? Is that a typo?

yes, yes it was. still having problems with exchange rates in my head. i meant 150 pesos.
