Thanks for clarifying... I think I was confused... what I meant to say is that you have to go to the Spanish consular closest to you, in the USA... is this correct? Thanks if anyone can clarify.
Especially since I'm thinking of doing this.
If I were to study in Spain I would definitely want to enroll as a degree seeking student at the Spanish university, as opposed to being enrolled at a school in the US. |

I'm from USA and I've had similar problems... it's frustrating and in my opinion, completely unfair. However, it's not completely impossible.
One thing I did find out... not sure if it applies to you... but the way I understand it, if you are an American, and hold a student visa (which you arrange at your US Embassy) then you are entitled to work up to a CERTAIN NUMBER of hours. Hope this helps...
Please correct me if I'm wrong? I heard this from a reliable source. |
Are you still whinging about the unfairness of it all? Grow up! I take it you are over 14 years old?
How many Spaniards would love to work in your country but they can't?
There are reasons why as well, are they fair? Probably not to the Spaniards in question but to the locals it makes a lot of sense.
Secondly, do you think studying and living in Europe is cheap - I hope you have your bucks saved up! |
