This is what bogey used to defend his typos. Are you not going to afford me the same forgiveness bogey???? Or are you "big" enough to overlook my mistakes? |

" Or perhaps you desire there to be untold desperados in Hong Kong so you can recruit them to work in your grotty little back alley training centre, where, I note with some not inconsiderable interest, you claim that a pathetic HK$250 a hour is a fair wage? " said Bogey.
Bogey, this is what you wrote. I believe this sentence claims that kowlooner runs an operation that pays people HK$250 per hour, am I correct Bogey? If so, kowlooner, PLEASE MESSAGE ME, I'm very interested.
and since you're extremely big on spelling and the english language in general, I'd like to point out that you accuse kowlooner's operation as a "grotty little back alley training centre" that pays an unfair wage. I believe that makes it implied that "grotty little back alley training centres" either pay HKD$250 or higher. Correct or incorrect Bogey? Or perhaps you would like to rephrase? |

I am not presently in HK as I am enjoying a book writing sabbatical in North Africa. But, yes, HK$250 is a ridiculously low wage associated with grotty little back alley tutorial centres (such as the one operated by Kowlooner) that play on and feed off the Chinese parents' firmly held socioeconomic belief that more is somehow intrinsically better. One agency I did do some part-time work for every once in while (usually when they had IBD students) paid HK$450 an hour. You can get HK$200 HK$250 an hour over in Shenzhen now! |

Maybe if you had the proper qualifications and credentials, you wouldn't have to work in a "grotty" back alley tutorial center. Care to share? You were so quick to dismiss peoples degrees earned at "Chumbawumba" university---yet you failed to say where and what you had accomplished in the educational field.
The main reason many of us come to HK with our professional credentials is in order to escape having to work at these types on centers. Yet you continue to find reasons why people won't make it there. Here's an idea--since we are all trying to do something different with our lives, and lead it in an adventurous way--- why not provide honest constructive feedback? It isn't an "you vs me" forum; it's a discussion forum for people looking to come over and find honest work for proper pay. That doesn't mean sugarcoat the truth--it means refraining from a "Bah humbug you whippersnappers" attitude. People aren't out to get you nor steal you Lucky Charms---they are simply looking for information.
Want to try again and this time play nice? |

Bogey-----what happened to you??? I finished my certification and have been accepted as a physical education coach along with teaching elementary science classes. I'm guessing that you might not return this response bc it does contradict your previous messages. |
