I just saw Lost in Translation here in the Philippines for just under $1 CDN. It was almost worth the cost of admission.

I watched it on DVD earlier today and thought it was superb. Fantastic acting by both leads, lots to say about loneliness and marriage (both new and middle-aged).

Well, this'll probably remove me from L.A.'s list of "good posters", but how about:

Macaulay Culkin

John

Well, at the risk of this being a generation thing, and LA going "Who?", while you're all being big-hearted to broke and out-of-work actors, I can kind of see Gary Coleman doing our lil friend LA.

Dear L.A.

http://us.imdb.com/name/nm0171041/

He recently ran for governor of California in the recall election, which Arnold Schwarzenegger won.

P.S. But I still like my choice better.

Any decision as to where this film will take place? Being ESL-oriented, would it be out of line to suggest "in a galaxy far, far away"? Smile

Having not been cast either, I'll humbly accept the role of extra. Any room for a big guy who isn't ugly enough to be a thug but not pretty enough to be a leading man?

Gary Coleman? I think he's way past the age where he could convincingly play a teenager! Twisted Evil

How about Topher Grace as LA? Cool
