| n fact we are treated differently but not in a positive way. I was aware of the schedule on the school calendar which was issued back in September. On Friday, the foreign languages department sent a gentle reminder to the FTs on our cell phones reminding us of the makeup classes. I dutifully showed up for classes on Saturday and Sunday to make up for the Monday and Tuesday classes. I figured that my students would have a full schedule as Mon and Tue are there busiest days. Guess what? My classes were the only ones they had on the weekend! Their Chinese teachers cancelled all of their other makeup classes! I wonder if others here faced a similar experience. |
I let my class monitors know there would be no classes, and they passed it on to the students.
No need to go in on a weekend. |
