| If she'd just become a cow like me, she could have gone up 3 cup sizes without the surgery. |

| Phil must have been travelling at a fair lick sounds ok to me ! Is grammar the only way people learn a language ? Does this advanced student ever stick his nose in an English newspaper ? |

| I thought Stacy's boobs looked different! Hadn't watched it for a while though and wondered if it was just padding because the editors wanted her to look genuinely pregnant. But they've got those defined lines of fake *beep*. Ha! I was right. |

Er, no, my mistake, I was thinking of the blonde girl who's with the doctor's husband now. |

No! Anything that heralds the end of this ongoing Max nausea-fest is heartening.
Dawn, Stacey-- it's fairly easy to confuse them, lovelace! Trashy, totally out of the league of plug-ugly men they're with...
Though if I remember right, Dawn's bo*b-job was part of the plot as her first shenanigan after arriving on the square...
Dr. May scares me. |

Yeh, she scares me too. But it also kind of annoys me that they've turned her into a crazy, baby-buying harridan just cos she's an older woman who can't have a baby.
Some friends have gone through that and it would be more challenging to show the deep sadness that someone feels when they realise they'll never have children. But I guess that wouldn't make for such dramatic viewing.
I just got back into Eastenders. Never used to watch it in the UK as I found it those small, grey lives too depressing. Now I don't live there it's fun! |

But that's the beauty of EastEnders, really-- the characters are so unrealistically inconsistent. Dr. May was pretty nice for awhile, and they did have her being quietly sad before she went crazy. Stacey's veered from Conniving Skank when she first arrived (she was almost a Jeanine replacement), to seeming reasonably cool throughout the dating Bradley months, only to swing back to Skank. And didn't Minty used to just be one of Phil's skinhead thugs? Now he's a sad teddy bear looking for love. Phil himself does some pretty amazing shifts from Antagonistic Bad Guy to Guy We're Supposed to Sympathize With. One of these days Tracey's gonna get an axe and hack everyone to bits. Or something even scarier like try to nail Peg in the basement... |
