That's unfortunate, KME0050. In addition to the apparent construction shortcuts, it sounds like they don't have enough specialized maintenance workers and technicians. Or maybe they do but those departments are poorly managed. (A friend told me about the nice, new SMART Boards in her classrooms that were never connected.)
It's great that PNU's enrollment numbers are up. However, they shouldn't keep accepting students to the point where classroom sizes are doubled. That's bad for both learning and teaching. |
