Threads may go on and on but it would be nice if they didn't have to be polluted with mindless dribble that desparage others.

But perhaps that's just the way of the thread eh dmb...btw the DJ at Naya asked me for some chutney music...hope u enjoy it the next time u are there Smile

It must have been when you worked in Ankara.

Your Koc mates havent had a pay increase-duh they get paid in dollars.

Life is too short stop shafting people and leave ET.

Getting plenty of waiter no doubt.

It's basically Indian music with a Soca or Calypso beat. It comes from the Caribbean Islands, especially Trinidad. Must have something to do with all the East Indians living there!

I get pop ups on the computer at work, but not at home. I guess the computer at work must have a trojan or whatever they are called.

ekmekparasi i have never lived in ankara, have only visited it once. eat your words.

i don't plan on leaving et any time soon. we are not shafting people, or at least not any more than any other language school. we are trying to be responsible within limiting factors.

you seem awfully unhappy-- why don't you go somewhere else?

no we are not shafting people, though i agree that some are underpaid. i am not in charge of that, I must add. Anyway, people who come to turkey for money must be out of their minds.

I am wondering how many regulars who post here have actually ever worked for ET. I know dmb has-- anyone else?

and i would really like to know who ekmekparasi is, as he seems to have it out for me on a personal level-- and as far as i know doesn't know me. i'm sick of his smarmy comments and i wish the moderator (if there is really one) would kick his butt off here.

I did a turn at E/T for a few months, have to say I got the cash on time all the time and I was given more than others (50% more). Yet the rate was still too low. Also working in place where everyone is less than happy, can get you down a bit.
By the way nothing personal about my comments, I just want to $$$$
money.
P.S you can earn very well here, so don't try and aviod the truth that way

it is more than possible to live very well and still save money. i do it every month and i'm not hurting for anything. but those that know me know that i work my butt off for it. they also know i spend money like crazy, so it's not like i am being overly thrifty or something...

First, I'm not American. Second, I didn't write the piece in TOI, so offer your apologies to Richard. Third, I rarely drink, probably unlike you. Fourth, why are you so vitriolic (bet you don't even know the word) to me and just about everyone else? I feel sorry for you. Fifth, I never worked for English Fast, but I know people who did. And finally, get off the site unless you have something constructive to offer, which will never happen. If I have a big ego, at least it is based on something and I don't need to sublimate the lack of it in personal attacks.
