I thşnk so yeah, when I was teaching, when I first started if I didn't know the answer to a grammer question I'd blag it. After a while I just telling them I didn't know and that they should read more.

In order to preserve my reputation can I point out that I don't misiform students. It's not often I don't know the answers to their questions, if it does occur than I get on the internet immediately and find the answer(or I get them to get on the internet.) But I do talk the kind of crap we talk about here. By the end of tomorrow's morning lessons my students will be aware the Kate Moss has been dropped by Burberry and also the story of the false landing for the football(see men's thread)

Oh but bellybutton fluff is off the menu.

Actually I'm lying I remembered doing a reading on bellybutton fluff. It was a link somebody gave on this forum.

I am lucky in that I have great students. They were amazed at the reason why it was always blue. I've forgotten why now though.
