Have to agree with hockey.God I miss hockey. The only good thing about not being able to watch hockey is that I am spared the yearly embarrassment of watching the Leafs lose yet another chance to win the cup.

At least the Canadiens suck even worse. That alone would be worth seeing. |

I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark Kattie and guess that you're British!!! Hmmmm .... I wonder what gave it away?

Tea, marmite, Cadburys and sarcasm (and possibly the use of the word "uni" although I could be pushing it on that one) - the backbone of Britain |

				| For Americans, New Zealand doesn't engender loads of homesickness. Easy, easy, easy place to assimilate into. However, I do miss sane and safe drivers. Kiwis are generally pleasant enough folks until they get into a car and then they become passive-aggressive airheads. Perhaps nobody has explained to New Zealand motorists that there is a handy piece of equipment that is located just to the left of the accelerator and is standard on all vehicles. IT'S CALLED THE BRAKE! Also another driving tip to Kiwis, while operating a motor vehicle please don't throw beer bottles at pedestrians. |

I found New Zealand drivers to be very disciplined compared to, well, pretty much anywhere in Asia. |

Living here in New Zealand is okay with me. I can't say I am homesick for anything in the USA. When I lived in Thailand I did miss baseball. Here in NZ there is cricket, a wholly satisfying alternative to baseball when it comes to putting wood on leather. Yeah, I suppose I could definitely stay on here extra long term if immigration lets me.

Now, if only the LTSA could get a proper road code and Kiwi drivers learn a little courtesy like not tailgating (and making an effort in improving other driving skills they are sorely deficient in), this place would be heaven. |

				| Wow Joseph, if bad driving is your biggest beef, NZ must be great. I'd love to be in Wellington now with the opening of LOTR and the big parade they had. |
