| If in one months time your passport were to be taken away. You had to choose a country to live in for the rest of your days. There was no changing. Where would it be? |

Don't know how they came to the decision or even how I was able to swing it but I was just approved for permanent residency here in New Zealand. I mean I'm just a crappy ol' TESOL teacher and I'm 49 years old for crying out loud.
So I reckon I'm going to stay here on the South Island for a spell. I don't know if I'd want to stay here forever, but it's alright with me for now. I definitely have no desire whatsoever to ever return to the USA. What a graveyard that is. |
Congratulations. |

Hard question, but I reckon I'd do Indonesia (do I have a whole country at my disposal, or do I have to pick a city or region in the country?) I loved living in Jakarta, and I loved the jaunts I would occasionally make to Bali or Lombok or the Thousand Islands. That's where I would live out my days, if I ha to choose.
Having said that, I'm fixin' to return to NE China (Manchuria, aka Dongbei).
Maybe. It's tempting to go back to Jakarta, now that I've said that. Damn...
The world is my oyster. hard to decide what to do with it. But what a choice, eh? My sister has kids and is tied to a very small geographical area of SW Oregon. My brother is married with kids and is stuck in Sacramento. I, on the other hand, can have the flippin' WORLD. Wow. I don't know where to go, but I can't complain about the choice. What a great life. |
