I should add that the Chechen nightmare was under Yeltin's watch who while selling off the family silver (so to speak) was friendly wih the West....
Some people born in the US have never known their country not to be at war.. |

comparing the number of casualties from the two Chechen wars vs the number of casualties from all US conflicts is insane, as is referring to the former as "minor skirmishes" as opposed to "murder" in the case of the latter |

Of course its minor compared to the US atrocities. Do the math!

Your whataboutism isn't going to fly here, so give it up.
Yes, you are a Russian apologist. Describing 6-digit casualties as a skirmish because your new found love was the murdering aggressor confirms it. Btw, there were 2 Chechen wars. The first was under Yeltsin, the second under Putin.
Selling the family silver? Putin's buddies own or control most of the country, its economy and media. Yeltsin was an amateur compared to Putin. |

The point is that to compare them is crazy. Following your childish logic, the second Iraq war might, for example, be called a "minor skirmish" when compared to all Soviet and Russian military conflicts. The fact is that no sane person would make such a useless comparison.
I would also be more careful about making blanket statements like this or that regime is "evil" and all deaths resulting from US military conflicts are "murder," especially when your understanding of world affairs generally and Russia specifically is, based on your comments, extremely dimwitted. |
