um...yeah. thanks, everyone, for your profound concern with my personal financial decisions...
ok, i know that even though i'm the o.p., this is not just supposed to be about me. it's supposed to be general helpful information for anyone who wanders into this forum. but honestly, i find the idea that i, or anyone else, would just blindly accept that MIIS (or any other school) is the best and only choice without doing any research at all, but simply because someone TOLD me so, a little insulting.
clearly choosing a graduate program is a personal decision. there is no one right or wrong answer or decision. there are pros and cons to every program, and depending on an individual's financial situation, career and educational goals, personal goals, and whatever other factors, different people will make different decisions! and i think that by this point in their lives, most people are reasonably qualified to make this decision for themselves.
now can we let this thread die, please?
