Is your son a little touchier than usual now that he's in love?

There's a way of getting those ramen noodles sort of wet but not cooked and making a salad out of it, so that's in the middle of justme and dmb's style. i've eaten the salad, but don't know how to make it.

I lived on those noodles when i first got to japan, as they were the only thing that looked familiar. Sort of burned out on them...

Cook 'em as normal, run them under the cold tap, toss with olive oil and use them for a salad. Or blanch in hot water for a minute, let them dry, then deep fry-makes an interesting salad topping

So should we start a new thread-'cooking tips'? I wouldn't know where to begin.

I think he's been "disappeared" by the mods. If you try to view all his previous posts from his personal info page it comes up with a blank.

That's the age-old mystery of not being able to search the number's posts. If you can find one of his posts, you can search the others using the words in his signature. I don't know who to credit for figuring this out, but to be safe I'll credit baba alex since I've already slighted him once with poorly researched citations...

That's quite clever. I have just finished The Davinci code and I am looking for secrets/symbols in everything. Maybe Baba has the key to finding the holly Grail?

Hitch-hikers Guide to the Galaxy said the answer to everything was 42. But we know that is wrong. The answer is 31. Baba can you explain to us mortals? I've heard that Templars don't read Dave's, so your secret is safe.
