Yes. I suppose it does.

Getting married to a fellow from US or Canada sounds great because they don't like football.

Oh dear I made a couple of typos.
What's a real Scouser then? Curly hair? Moustache? Lives in a council house? Steals stuff?
Well sorry for not being a 'real' stereotype, it's not as though I'm constantly going on about my Liverpool roots. I've admitted on this board that I don't even speak in a Liverpudlian accent.
Plus private messages are called private messages for a reason.
Let's not start a feud eh?

(p.s. If you've decided to become a pedant than 'Scouser' as a nick-name is considered as proper noun and therefore should be spelt with a capital letter)

la

a proper noun
then not than

I fully admited making typos.
You were the one being a pedant.

How come when people start arguing on this forum they ignore the questions asked to them and have to rely on childishly pointing out typing mistakes?

You are the individual who is childishly calling people names.

From now on I will ignore your posts.

Do not send me another PM.

You've been more or less ignoring what I've said in them anyway.

Then how the hell else are we supposed to learn not only new swear words, but how to use them properly in context? Smile Football and driving with my husband have colored my Turkish right up. I never get mad at him for swearing, I just repeat it all back to make sure I got it right, much to his chagrin. Then I threaten to say it in front of his parents and tell them where I learned it...

Basil mayonaise is a really good idea!! And here I've been putting Worcestershire sauce and tarragon (also good, especially with artichoke...)

Just make sure that making it doesn't contradict with your background and you'll be fine.

Learn something every day.

Shall we start the fan club meetings on Saturday? It can be an open bar provided everybody brings their own...

(I have to skip off--sober-- to the police again to explain again why I don't have an ikamet anymore without p1ssing them off by mentionning that I'd been kicked out of 5 cop shops already in my eternal quest for a tutanak)

Okay. I'll ask the student where she got the t-shirt so we can all have one. Hopefully sparkly hot pink isn't the only option.

Yaramaz, that sounds like a royal pain in the ass. Kolay gelsin!
