OP,
Once again good post!
However, what you said about people staying home and making a lot of money at home is not correct for the most part.
If you know any k-12 teachers in metropolis areas then you know they don't do it for the money! One can barely survive in the SF Bay area as a teacher.
But If teaching is what I do, I would rather do it overseas on a tropical island drinking coconut water, enjoying fresh fruit and food rather than here in the US  |

SLP may get 65 per 1/2 per diam but not as a regular salary.
I know my buddy is SLP in L. A county and he started at 60K per year full time work.
Just want to paint a more realistic picture before someone starts a program |
