I don't think you can look at the 40-50 year old women in Poland and say that's how today's 20 year old polki will look in 20 years. The standard of living has risen considerably and consumerism has taken hold, it's gonna have an effect on the way people age.

Comparatively you�re likely to find many more obese, even grossly obese middle-aged women in Australia, NZ, the UK and the US, while polki tend to not completely let themselves go, weight-wise at least.

Scandinavian women tend to look good way into their 50s, but I don't think that's got so much to do with genes as with the consistently high standard of living they enjoy.
