Dear Nabby Adams,

Or a test tube, anyway. Have you ever considered sperm donation, Deicide, to fulfill your evolutionary imperative?

Regards,
John

One of the best ways to cope is to learn something about the culture of the country you're in. I learned a little Arabic and it's helped open some doors. There is plenty to do if you're sportsminded. All the hotels have clubs of some sort. I find there is just too much to do, especially in the UAE. There are some amazing places to go for weekend camping or treks. Make the most of your experience, don't hide away in a cupboard. Get to know the people you work with and teach. If you're friendly and sociable, they will be too. Anyway that's my view and that's how I cope.
