This is not an IELTS test situation, but I think it might be interesting to see what scores other posters would assign this lady. Will have to be impressionistic, but still - have a bash!

As a qualified IELTS examiner, albeit lapsed, I would certainly give her a 6 or maybe a 7 as she is quite cute, which counts for a lot despite what any examiner may tell you. On the other hand, she�s talking about herself, which is a lot easier than trying to talk about a daft IELTS topic to an unsympathetic examiner who has heard it all before fourteen times that day. I also have no idea if she can write, listen or read, but I would imagine so. Erring on the side of caution, I would give her an overall IELTS 8.

I agree with the comment on the granting of bonus points for being cute, but I'm not sure that this particular candidate would score too highly in that category .. the hair, skin and red eyes would need some work first ..

Why the candidates don't read the IELTS specs beforehand is beyond me ..
