Does anyone have any experience with Ellis Academy? I tried the search function and didn't come up with anything.

I'm just looking for some basic info such as working hours, pay, management, and overall reputation of the place.

Thanks!

I am currently working for them and I really like them. They pay on time and do not mind giving you an advance on what you have earned (like before tet). To be honest it is a smaller operation but they have treated me really well and I am even helping them out with some of their syllabus.

Hours and pay depends on what you are doing, I teach for them in 2 different cities jsut outside HCMC. The extra travel does suck (they provide transport) but they do pay a little something for the traveling and I don't mind the chill out time.

Overall I would say they are one of the better schools I have worked for and much more professional than most, and the 2 owners are approachable. A lot depends on what you like, but I prefer teaching business classes and for the most part being left alone once they understand I know what I am doing in the classroom.

Downsides, big lack of resources really, but I use my own for my classes. Not a ton of hours right away, but they seem to be increasing, and traveling if you think this is a 'con' personally I don't mind it and the students outside HCMC are great to teach.

PM me if you have anything else to ask
