Hi.

Is there somewhere online we can find an official list of British Council accredited English schools? Unless I am blind, there doesn't seem to be such a list on their website and Google came up empty.

The British Council 'kitemark' means nothing these days. It's not a guarantee of quality, more like a statement of mediocrity (or less).

I've been inside BC-accredited schools that have minimal resources and pay and treat their teachers like shite. So what does BC-accredited actually mean?

It just means that the school have paid BC a few grand for a few aging EFL fogies to come and have tea with them.

The entire process is entirely self-serving and serves no real purpose at all - just like BC.
