Are most jobs in China six days a week? How do I find 5 day a week jobs?

Stay away from the training centers.
Most public school jobs are 4 or 5 days a week.

When do public schools hire? And do you know where to look for them?

Pick a city, do a search of education or schools in that city. Find the contact information yourself and apply. I work at a Uni only three days a week. No evenings or weekends!!

Search the topic threads here on Dave's for postings related to jobs and/or hiring, etc. You will find a lot of websites to choose from.

I work for an International school in Guangdong province. My schedule is basically 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. I teach 3 to 5 classes per day; 40 minutes per class.

I'm working 16 hours per week, Tuesday through Thursday, this semester. Plenty of time for traveling or private lessons. How did I get such a sweet deal? I told my boss I'd like to travel more this semester and she gave me this schedule.

I work for a uni.
