According to their job posting, Tokyo is a an hour away by train, which is fine by me.  |

I had a student from there and others would laugh at him when he said where he was from.
It must be a quiet place near forests, and gets chilly in the winter, but compared to the ugly urban sprawl where I work,
it doesn't sound like a bad place. |

Hanno is quite far from Tokyo. I have a friend living there. Yes, about an hour on the express train to Ikebukuro. Then you have the changes/distance to cover from Ikebukuro to your home. If you were living in Naka Meguro in the south of Tokyo or Ueno in the north east it would easily be a 90 min one way trip. Then you have the walking time to add on.. |
