Great stuff Laughing

The irony is killing me. Despite their best efforts to make life in the US look miserable, it's still ten times better than life in North Korea.

Dear John:

How's that coffee made from snow, and has your tent roof fallen in yet?
Do your relief supplies from North Korea arrive regularly?

I do hope you're NOT heading for a blue body bag under a park bench near all your friends quite yet;-)

Best,
spiral

Dear spiral78,

I do hope that missing "not" wasn't a Freudian slip Very Happy. Actually, I much prefer green body bags (especially around St. Patrick's Day.)

Regards,
John

Dear Johnslat

And it is coming up very soon. Nearly upon us. I must go to the Belfast Bar for it:

Clearly it's the fact that we make our coffee from snow (it's repeated frequently in the video) that N. Koreans should find most daunting. At least we're not like our poor neighbors to the North who are forced to make beer from icebergs.

You've spent time in NK?

That's great.
I've been looking for someone who can give a first hand account of life there and the social/cultural/political conditions normal in that country.
How long were you there and did you get chance to see much of the local way of life?
Photos would be great. Smile

My favorite is when they said the real coffee that was shown was imported from North Korea........

I guess if you keep your people in the dark about EVERYTHING then they aren't able to actually put together any coherant thoughts. How many NK's watched that and thought "wait.......we're importing coffee to America? How come i've never even tasted coffee? Wait......we're importing shelters to America? How come I'm sleeping in a haystack and freezing to death?"
