I'm curious if anyone here has either experience teaching CALL or who may have taken it during the master's degree program. If so, can you recommend any free online courses or syllabi that I can have a look at.

I never took CALL myself when I did my master's degree, but my director would like me to prepare a CALL course for a class of English majors at the small junior college I'm at in the middle east. Any info would be much appreciated

On that note, any tried and true textbooks that would be a good source that anyone might know would also be much appreciated.

Thanks.

I took a CALL class for my grad program, but that was a semester-long course that can't easily be condensed or explained at the level you want. Plus, it's unclear what exactly you need for your specific learners---what the objectives or learning outcomes are since they're English majors and not students in a graduate-level teaching/education program.

Anyway, for more immediate resources, do an Internet search on esl computer assisted language learning; you'll get many useful search results. There's also a teacher discussion forum via the ESL Cafe's "Stuff for Teachers" that focuses on CALL (http://forums.eslcafe.com/teacher/viewforum.php?f=7).
