Calling all ol' (or young) China hands who'd care to lend some guidance to an F.T. caught in a bind. Issues concern residency permit, release letter, and contract. Wish I could disclose more now; alas, I cannot. Would certainly be willing to post more detail later, as I think the eventual resolution to my predicament could serve as a warning to future teachers.
