How is Egypt compared to China in these respects? I have been teaching two things in China: 1. Chemistry. 2. English.

Chemistry has been in 3 formats:

1. Education Groups (they find the teachers and take care of the visa paperwork, a partner school finds the students).
2. International Schools (the school finds the teachers and the students and takes care of the teachers' visa paperwork).
3. International Sections within a high school (the school finds the teachers and the students and they take the curriculum license from someplace-- IB/ Cambridge).

English has been in 3 formats:

1. Training centers- Adults
2. Training centers- Children
3. Middle Schools/ High Schools
4. Part time work.

Problems have been:

Education Groups: 1. Too unstable. They may have a contract with a school this year, but it may be ending the next semester; 2. Too over-managed (managers, managers everywhere, nor any answers to be found); 3. Too frightened of the students (children of party officials)

International Schools: Financial Problems.

International Sections within a high school: Problems with the accreditation and licensing issue.

Teaching English. Adult training centers: Stable, but pay is low and competition is high. Children: More stable. Pay is a bit better. Middle School/ High Schools. Work is stable but students act like animals in a zoo. No discipline. No referrals. No out of school suspensions. Part time work: Lots of it. But not stable.

How does Egypt compare in this way?
