I am getting a little discouraged. I feel like the majority of what I have been reading on this website about teaching in Taiwan is negative. Granted I plan on forming my own opinions once I do get there ( if and when I do), but does anyone have a few good things to say about the place and the experience?
Thanks

I am slowly putting up web pages on the many wonderful experiences I have had here.

Here's one on a weekend in Kenting National Park, Taiwan's playground.

Here's one on Night Markets, a fun local tradition

Here's one on a recent day hike near Keelung.

And here's one on a trip to Leofoo Village Theme Park and Zoo

Visit My Recreation page for more stuff

You might also enjoy my page on Food, food being the one thing foreigners universally love about Taiwan.

I've been so busy I haven't been up to the mountains in years! Or to the East Coast! So many pages are still to come!

It can be a great place, but it will really depend on what you make of it.

You decide your level of involvement here, no one else. If you want to sit at home or at the bar and whine, that's fine. You can also do a lot of other things too though, the possibilities are quite endless.
