I'm having my students make videos for a project. A fair amount of them are technologically inept so I am looking for some video-editing shareware in Chinese for them to download and use.

I want it to be easy to use. I'm not grading them on their video-editing skills.

Anyone have any leads?

Thanks!

NCH VideoPad - www.nchsoftware.com/videopad is pretty good for students.

Freeware version for home use, simple to use, add subtitles, change/add audio track.
Drag and drop video files then you can trim/edit/join. Separates the video and audio so I use it to add subtitles or alternate language audio tracks to training films.

Also has quite a few tools they can play with to tweak or alter video and audio.

EDIT: Apologies, just re-read and see that you want a Chinese program. This one is only in English but the interface is very intuitive and easy to explain. Maybe teaching them the English commands could be an initial lesson?

Wouldnt Microsoft Windows Movie Maker fit the bill? AFAIK its free software and can be enabled with Chinese language.
