I would also suggest doing a search of this branch as we do regularly get questions about it here (just as we do Egypt). In fact there is a thread just down the page.

I spent two days researching Libya jobs as much as the search function and the Googles would let me.

If you want to teach in Libya straight-up, there are a fair number of adds for jobs, and even some recent commentary. Purely financially, none of them seem worth it.

However, searches for relatively well-paying rotational oil and gas jobs yield little from 2013.

Ah. Thanks. What kind of minimum qualifications are needed? Probably Masters, or at least DELTA (Ideally both)?

Solid, relevant experience is what we look at when we get CV's. The DELTA style doesn't really 'fit' maintenance trainees and operators. The MA won't get you a better salary. We look at people who look like they could fit in here and handle the sometimes harsh living conditions and add value to the team.
