I have a great summer job in the USA, June 10 to Aug 10. All my expenses are paid. Is there a country where I can work the rest of the year and still come back? As long as I didn't have to dig into my pocket, I'd be happy making enough to live well somewhere.
Cheers. |

A country that gives teachers the summers off? Rather, more likely the type of teaching situation where students typically have the summer off (e.g., universities and international/public schools). These jobs generally require some solid credentials and experience.
Since you're a newbie, it might be difficult to find the ideal teaching job that allows you to make enough money to live well and not have to dig into your pocket. Add to that, it must be a situation that also allows you the summers off to do your tennis stuff. If such an opportunity exists, be aware that could mean taking a not-so-great job in a not-so-great location.
Maybe private tutoring would work for you, if you can get enough students. The big benefit is that you'd be able to establish your own schedule. However, finding a country where you can legally work as a private tutor could be a challenge. |

Before we go too far in making suggestions, do you have a degree and a respected initial TEFL qualification? Any relevant experience? Remember: there is what you want and also what you can offer. Although some language schools teach everybody throughout the year, there are others that tend to do less in the summer and may offer a good package to the right people. |
