|
|
I have a bachelor of teaching and experience teaching 5 - 10 year olds. I do not have a TESOL qualification. I am 51 years old (but am often told that I look much younger) and it seems that the few short term teaching jobs I have found advertised have had an age restriction of around 40.
So what would be my best bet for a contract for around 4 months?
Any suggestions please? |

5- 6 months would be more realistic. Just take all of your credentials, dress like James Bond (without the gun) and start knocking on schools' doors. DO NOT EMAIL your resume - there's a high possibility it'll never be noticed.
I did a 5- month stint this year (Jan-June) at a small private school in Phnom Penh. It was the second school I walked into and got a full-time job. The pay stank, but I still got almost as much as my Head of Department ! Poor Khmers...... |
