Hi there.

I've seen it mentioned a few places that if you did a TEFL certification other than a CELTA or Trinity at an on-site school that requires similar conditions for graduation, you should list the conditions/completed requirements on your CV/Resume.

What is the best way to list this?

Something like:
TEFL Course Name: City, Country
-1_ _ hours of coursework
- _ hours of observed teaching practice?

Or more like:
TEFL Course Name, Merit (1_ _ hours of coursework, _ hours of observed teaching practice)?

For consistency's sake should you then alter your other degree (BA, MA, PCGE, etc) qualifications to the same format? For example:

Name of University: City, Country
BA of Subject
_ _ _ Credit Hours, _._ GPA (or First, 2.1, etc)?

Sionnich, one point. When you state the course hours as "120 (or however many) hours coursework," I would specify "classroom" or "contact" hours. I notice a trend of shoddy and lesser course providers to include reading and other homework in their hours count to increase the apparent length of the course. It helps to be able to compare apples to apples. (If they weren't actually classroom hours, then ignore this advice!)

Oh yeah, of course! I've got it listed on my CV currently, but I totally spaced when I asked the question here. Thanks for the reminder!

Is the month and year sufficient? (April 2013) Or is it better to list the full date of completion/graduation?
