How do you find out who owns these companies? They seem to be in the U.K. but finding ownership info is proving to be mission impossible for me. I was just told that they are the same group pf people using two different names to sell the same fraud to seniors and unemployed people looking for a job (They promise people jobs overseas if they buy their TEFL course) My sister and I both called and played the part of interested suckers and they had the balls to tell us that we could earn "over $3,000 - $5,000 per month teaching English in China, Japan, or Korea. I suspected last week that they are a scam and now I am sure. See this link:
http://internationalteflreviews.wordpress.com/2013/04/24/beware-onlinetefl-com-is-a-sophisticated-scam-in-progress-targeting-work-abroad-teachers/
Anyway since they are targeting seniors I want to notify the FTC and start a class action law suit, but I cannot find out who is the owner of these companies, only that the administrator is a woman named "Hargreaves". Does anyone out there have any suggestions since "whois.com" shows a "private registration"????? |

Organisation Name: i-to-i (UK) Limited

Zip / Postcode: RH10 9QL

Good luck with the FTC and a class action suit based in the States.
There are lots of jurisdictional issues and even a simple "serving of legal documents" may be impossible.
Although they are "based" in the UK (at least on paper ) and hosted on a UK server I think you may find that they actually run the business out of a location in Thailand.

This site is good to check on UK registered companies.
http://companycheck.co.uk/company/04539983
Their legal address appears to be the same as the address they have registered their URL at:
Tui Travel House, Crawley Business Quarter, Fleming Way, Crawley, West Sussex, RH10 9QL.
I don't see how it was difficult to find as if you go to their homepage, and then click on 'Contact Us', the information is right there.
Also note that they are a private limited company. This means in the UK you can't sue the shareholders. They could close the company and you would have no recourse.
''There are lots of jurisdictional issues and even a simple "serving of legal documents" may be impossible.''
I agree with this. |

I got an online 100 hour TEFL certificate through I to I back in 2004.
They are legit as far as I know. I had no problems with them and had lots of feedback and help. I still get email from them advertising jobs but I delete them as I have had a good job here since 2004. |
