Hi all,
I know that this has already been addressed before, but on the previous threads I saw, I read that it would be extremely difficult for an inexperienced person to find any TEFL work IF they don't want to work for close to minimum wages.
I'm going over to the UK on a Youth Mobility Scheme visa to follow my gf who has found work there, which means if I don't find work as an english teacher I'd probably be working as a bartender or waiter earning minimum wages anyway, so I do not mind if the wages aren't that great.
Are there many opportunities available for low wage entry-level work? Or would it be more sensible to get some experience overseas first before joining my gf in the UK? |
