FAO has asked for ideas from FTs.
This is a major breakthrough in itself and want to come up with something good.
Students studying for hotel, travel agency (including airlines) and information centre careers.
Should have some good customer service dialogues, tourism English vocab etc
Ideas?

i use this one for tourism english, second year.
you can cover the entire book in one semester, but i like to spread
it over the entire year. first semester i'm also training them for
the tour guide certification tests. second semester there's training
for other contests, and preparation for their internships.

this here book has loads of activities that can suit the english fengshui
of almost any student. some vocab, and the dialogs aren't excessively
chinglishy.

there are also books 1 and 2, which are a combined general english
course. for book 3, tourism and business are separated. there are
teachers books available.

I have not used it myself but Oxford University Press makes this three-level series.

Click a cover to get content samples.

Also, several of the big publishers (Ox, Cambridge, Cengage) have airline/cabin crew textbooks. I can track them down if you can't find them.

I take it from this you are in a tourism college.
Can I ask, how is the course you teach described i.e 'English for Tourism' or something more generic i.e 'English for Travel'.
Best
