A quick question, as I've never encountered this before :
Has anyone ever experienced an environment where a native speaker worked alongside a Polish teacher in the classroom in Poland? I know it happens elsewhere, but I'm wondering specifically about Poland? |

Can't say that I have in Poland.
I mean, sometimes a teacher will have a Polish classroom assistant with kids aged 3-6, but I've never seen this with adults. Definitely more of an Asian thing. |

Yes, I'd done this at few different schools. There are various reasons for this - most natives are not real teachers, schools know that well so they split classes in order to provide some solid grammar lessons. Other schools do it in order to motivate. It never really works well because students tend to favor one teacher over the other which sometimes causes unnecessary static and complaints. If you don't have a choice, try to stay on good terms with the other teacher and coordinate lessons well so that students stay happy... it's a bit of a pain at times... |
