Do you like being evicted from your apartment and being forced to move in 40C (104F) degree heat?

Is working in a culture of fear and favoritism something you enjoy?

Do you like living in a college dorm room and sharing a kitchen with 50 grown men?

Would you like to sign a contract with an employer only to have it breached by said employer?

Do you like trekking across town with a fever and/or a migraine to obtain a sick note as proof of your sickness?

Are you under-qualified, egotistical, socially inept, and/or certifiably insane?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you may qualify for a teaching position with McGill University in Jubail, KSA. We are looking for teachers to abuse for the 2013-2014 school year. We offer competitive contracts with which you will be forced to adhere and which we will treat as if they dont exist. You will be living and working in a drab, arid college, rife with camels, sand, and petrochemical pollution. You will be provided with the equivalent of a dial-up internet connection on which most of your favorite sites will be blocked. There will be 30 working hours weekly, but you will likely be kept an extra 10 hours each week (mostly on a bus to and from work, but also in workshops telling you how to do your job). Visa costs will be covered (mostly); however, be aware that you will technically not be permitted to work in the country. Shhhhh! Dont tell anyone ; ) We offer Arabic lessons for all teachers, but these lessons will never occur. You will be allowed five (5!) sick days per year, although, it is suggested that you dont try to use them. You will be required to produce a sick note from a designated physician who has been instructed to not give you such a sick note. Your pay will then be deducted for your absence. You will be observed when we feel like it. Dont worry though, your job depends not on your performance, but whether we like you and/or your homebrew.

Your tasks will include:

-Teaching unmotivated students outdated materials
-Creating new materials which we will abandon later for said outdated materials
-Keeping quiet when you feel the need to express complaints or general dissent
-Counting the days until you leave the country
-Shoveling sand

Necessary Qualifications:
1) General English Knowledge
2) Male genitalia

If you are interested in working (illegally) for the premiere labor force in the eastern province of Saudi Arabia, please contact : (MOD edit just in case these were legitimate emails)

Sounds great Shocked

Do they still operate that monthly merry-go-round on pay day when 10 staff go, class size doubles and 10 more are frantically searched for?

I asked this somewhere else, but I feel the question is pertinent here too:

The affiliation of these programs with prestigious Western universities is a guarantee of what exactly?
