|

First, let me clarify that I could not search for this topic; when I tried search feature, it went to a blank page and never loaded--tired multiple times. may be a glitch with my browser for now...
=======================================================================
I can get a good ticket from USA to HK for about &750. If I buy and can show a ferry ticket to Macau out of HK dated a few weeks out from my arrival to HK, do you think the airline will let me board?
I completely understand the whole "one way ticket" thing has to do with the airlines being responsible for YOU and not immigration ANYWHERE.
Again I apologize for posting this but I could not search today for some reason. Any links you can paste will suffice.
All the best! |

Don't worry. We've come here several times on a one-way ticket. If you are asked (which probably won't happen), just tell them you are going to buy it once you arrive from a travel agent in Hong Kong. |

Might depend on the airport or airline - I was asked to show my HK or Macau ID card or equivalent supporting document last time I got on a plane back here with a one-way ticket. Previously I had never been asked.
No problem entering HK once I'd arrived though. |
