I have an ATM card (with Visa logo) from a US bank, and I am wondering if I need a 6 digit pin for use in VN?
I was using a different bank before, and they let me switch to a 6 digit pin before I went to VN, but my current bank won't allow it, only the common 4 digit PIN in the USA.
Also, has anybody done bank transfers from a US bank to a Vietnamese bank?
THANKS! |

I used to use my 4 digit card back in 2009 and had mixed results depending on which ATM I used.
It should generally be ok but you'll get the extra fee for using it. Back then for some reason I could avoid the fee by using Donga Bank ATMs |

You can use it just fine... but you'll probably get about $6 in fees every time you do. $2 ATM fee, then $4-5 international processing fee from you bank. |

Cam On!
Well, hope I have no issues with the card, the bank fees are OK. |
