Has anyone worked for OZGUN DER Education Foundation? They are based in Gaziantep and have branches in Hatay, Batman, Diyarbakir, Sanliurfa, etc. If you are familiar with this foundation or any of its branches, please share. Many thanks.

So I had an "HR" interview already and then I was told my resume would be forwarded to the branch of my choice. I choose Sanliurfa (Urfa) because the historical/archaeological sites seem the most interesting (as I had lived in Istanbul for 3 years and got a bit burned out from urban chaos).

Still I know nothing about eastern Turkey and have googled my brains out trying to find out about the cost of an apartment and cost of living (the usual: "sin items"). I have come up short needless to say, plus researching this foundation school has been a bit difficult since they only have promotional pages for their schools.

Help anyone?

Cheers actually I had never seen this site before. However, I think Hatay/Antioch and Gaziantep MIGHT be better places to live. Cheers!

I know someone who taught in Antakya. It wasn't bad in their opinion and they got a good package with a school.

The Dude has an interview this week. I'm a bit dubious about the East but it wouldn't hurt to have a chat.
